ACTTAA Members are busy bees at this time of year. The fee always needs one more ornament and they also make lovely gifts or we can sell them at our annual exhibition. Xmas Fabrics are already being discounted so now is out time for a more product week . Do you have your Xmas tree up yet? Maybe it’s about early . This author has started fast and early with the potential for burn out well before Santa arrives . Have fun stitching everyone .

Second last meeting for the year. A few members are travelling more now so trips from Japan were shared along with some wonderful purchases. Everyone brings something to work on as the chit chat and catch up gets into full swing. Show and tell was about memories and new ideas . Plus one prize winning work was shown to us.
Xmas celebration next month before we all head out to our Xmas family gathering. Hope we see all the members next month.

The seamstresses were at it again. Another class by the talented Christine Whyte allows the members of ACTTAA to explore new techniques and allows us to be creative in our designs. Some amazing outfits were finished and may have been seen at various high teas and early afternoon cocktail bars in Canberra! If you would like to be part of our classes or just come along to our monthly meeting please join us at the Philip Seniors club in Philip Canberra - 6pm second Wednesday of the month.

Another fun monthly meeting for ACTTAA.
One of our members launched her new book Contemplation Cloth and did a short talk on breaking rules. Her talk titled Dangerous Ideas for Embroidery reminded us that some rules instilled in us as children can be challenged. And this is where the creativity begins.
Show and tell was amazing as always and their was lots of chitchat and catching up .
If you would like to come to say hello, please know you would be very welcome. We met very second Wednesday of the month at the Philip Seniors Club in Canberra start time 6 pm. And there is squally a bit of a snack for everyone to enjoy.

Once again the monthly meeting for ACTTAA was rockin’ with fun , sharing and good old chatter! The show and tell was , as always inspiring as we shared our month’s progress.

Everyone is welcome to come along as met some new likeminded people. Meetings are at the Philip Seniors community Center - second Wednesday of each month. We have plenty of other activities including classes and a yearly exhibition. Plus a retreat coming up soon.

Recently I visited a new friend , a member of ACTTAA. Really I invited myself for a bit of a sticky beak. And I was rewarded with lots a laughs a cuppa and a tour of her home and studio where the magic happens. It’s surprising what you find behind the front door. Wonderful afternoon of another like minded creative. Thank you .

We loved the bag with 30 legs to celebrate the 30th anniversary of a footy team.
Can’t wait for next months getting.
